WHY AND FOR WHOM
Fifteen years of practice, hundreds of clockfaces, dozens of awards — and the need to make micro-products for Pebble in a language of my own. TTMM Codes is one of them, designed and built for myself. Too many times I dug through my phone for my company’s tax and registration numbers — in Poland a business carries three of them — or for my kids’ ID numbers while booking their doctor’s appointments. Now all of it sits on my Pebble, one quick launch away: a single tap reveals just the number I need, and nothing else. And because the Pebble screen never goes dark, the number stays in front of me while I read it out — no waking the screen, no re-unlocking halfway through. WHAT IT IS FOR
What stays. Company data — tax, registration and account numbers. Identity numbers, yours and your family’s. Employee and payroll numbers. Case numbers from offices and courts. Insurance policies and claim numbers. Patient and medical login numbers. Utility meters and customer numbers. Loyalty and membership cards. Access codes. Even the birthdays you keep forgetting.
What passes. A car registration to type into a parking meter. A locker at the pool, the gym, the cloakroom. Furniture and appliance dimensions while you are out shopping. Paint and colour codes. A parking level and spot. A phone number you need exactly when you do not have your phone. A gate, a flight, a row and seat. A table number, an order number, a hotel room.
Written in five seconds, read with one press, swiped away when the day is over. A safe and a notepad in the same twenty slots.
CONTROLS
Touch types on the keyboard, picks tags, reveals values. UP / DOWN move the list one screen at a time; pressed twice they jump to the top and to the end. At the security gate the touchscreen stays silent on purpose: only SELECT opens the PIN pad, so a sleeve or a pocket never spends your attempts.
HOW TO ADD
The safe holds 20 entries. Each one is born in three steps: pick a TAG (twelve icons; tap the chosen icon again to cycle its color — white, blue, orange, yellow), type the first line, and — when the entry needs it — add the second line. That is the whole editor. TAG → TEXT → VALUE.
ONE LINE OR TWO
This is the whole grammar of the app.
One line for what is short and harmless: LOCKER 214, GATE B22, P3 · 118. It stays visible on the list — you press, you read, you walk on.
Two lines for everything that needs to be named, or should not be readable at a glance: the name on the first line, the content on the second. The second line stays covered until you tap the entry, and it carries no tag icon — so it runs the full width of the screen and holds a longer number or a short sentence.

REORDER
The list keeps the order you give it. Hold UP for half a second — the REORDER screen opens and every label starts pulsing. Tap an entry to lift it, move it with UP / DOWN, tap it again to set it down; every move is saved the moment you make it. Put what passes on top — today’s locker, today’s gate — and let what stays live below.
Order is one axis, color the other. A tag’s color is never final: open the entry again in the editor and tap the icon — white, blue, orange, yellow — and regroup by family, by urgency, by owner. Sorting and re-sorting is editing, so it asks for editing unlocked, like the delete swipe.
COLOR & WHITE UX
Hold SELECT for a blink and the whole list goes to one color: WHITE UX — every tag white, maximum contrast, calm for the evening. Hold again and your colors come back, with their families and urgencies. The watch remembers the choice.
GOOD TO KNOW
The keyboard is capital letters, digits and a few separators (space, period, comma, colon, slash, hyphen). No lowercase, no @, no accented letters — this is a place for numbers and short names, not for email addresses or mixed-case passwords.
Room to write: a single-line entry takes about 20 characters, the second line about 30. A label that carries a second line stays short — around seven characters — because the + sign stands beside it.
HOW TO SECURE — three levels
Protection is chosen on the watch, on the LOCKING screen. EASY — no gate; the padlock only guards against accidental edits. For things allowed to be seen. MID — the app opens with a five-digit PIN. HARD — entries are encrypted in the watch memory. Opening needs two things at once: the key from your phone and the PIN from your head. The watch stores neither. To arm HARD: open Settings on the phone, the KEY drawer hands you a generated key — write it on paper, tap Save, then pick HARD on the watch and set your PIN twice.
WHEN IT PROTECTS
At every launch, MID and HARD ask for the PIN. Leave the app open and untouched — it gates itself again after 2 or 5 minutes (your choice, per level; or off). Walk away from your phone with Lock on disconnect enabled — HARD seals the moment Bluetooth drops. The PIN pad closes itself after 30 seconds. And guessing costs: five wrong PINs start a one-minute WAIT with a countdown; ten wipe the vault — WIPING OUT DATA, with the counter warning you all the way down. Your entries survive on your backup; a guesser’s chances don’t.
HOW TO EXPORT — SEAL & BACKUP
Your entries can travel. In Settings, the SEAL drawer’s GET fetches a sealed copy from the watch — a block of text, encrypted the same way as the watch memory. COPY it and keep it anywhere: notes, email, a file. Without your paper key and your PIN it is noise. To restore — on this watch, a new one, or after a wipe — paste the block into BACKUP and tap SEND. One rule worth keeping: store the copy separately from the key. And when a phone should forget everything, CLEAR START wipes its memory — the watch stays untouched.
PRIVACY
Everything lives on your devices: entries on the watch, the key on your phone and on your paper, the PIN in your head, the backup wherever you decide. Nothing is collected, nothing is processed, nothing is sent anywhere — there is no server to trust, because there is no server.
And one thing this app will keep asking of you: attention. Security is not a feature that works instead of you — it is a state of mind the app is built to support, never to replace. That is why the key is shown once and wants paper, why a revealed number hides itself after half a minute, why wrong guesses cost time and the tenth costs everything. Security notice
TTMM Codes is built with care: at the HARD level your entries are encrypted on the watch (ChaCha20), the key lives on your phone and on your paper, the PIN is stored nowhere, and nothing is ever sent to us or to any server. We describe the mechanism openly instead of calling it “military-grade”.
Even so, no software can promise safety. We do not guarantee that this protection is sufficient against every threat, and we cannot accept responsibility for data that is lost or disclosed. Because we hold no key and never see your entries, we cannot recover them: a forgotten PIN, a lost key, or the protective wipe after repeated wrong PINs means the content is gone for good — for you, for us, for anyone.
What is yours to keep: the key on paper, the PIN in your head, and a sealed backup stored apart from the key. Do not make TTMM Codes the only place where something irreplaceable lives.

The basics
What is TTMM Codes for?
For the numbers you keep coming back to: personal and company IDs, tax and registration numbers, card and account numbers, phone numbers, meter and membership numbers, access codes. One press opens the list, a scroll finds the entry, a tap reveals it.
What exactly do people keep in it?
Two kinds of things. What stays: company and identity numbers, employee and payroll numbers, case numbers from offices, insurance policies and claim numbers, patient and medical login numbers, utility meters, loyalty cards, access codes — even birthdays. What passes: a car registration for the parking meter, a locker at the pool or the gym, furniture dimensions while shopping, paint and colour codes, a parking level and spot, a gate and a seat, a phone number you need exactly when you do not have your phone.
Can I use it as a notepad for temporary numbers?
That is half of what it is for. Written in five seconds, read with one press, swiped away when the day is over. The same twenty slots serve as a safe and as a notepad.
How many entries can I keep?
Twenty.
When should an entry have one line, and when two?
One line for what is short and harmless: LOCKER 214, GATE B22, P3 · 118 — it stays visible on the list. Two lines for what needs a name, or should not be readable at a glance: the name on the first line, the content on the second. Rule of thumb: if you would say it out loud in a queue, one line is enough.
Why is the second line hidden on the list?
Because that is where the content lives. The label stays visible so you can find the entry; the second line opens only when you tap it, for 30 seconds. Somebody glancing at your wrist sees “CARD”, not the digits.
Why does the second line hold more characters?
Because it carries no tag icon — it runs across the full width of the screen. That is the room for a longer number or a short sentence.
How much text fits?
A single-line entry takes about 20 characters, the second line about 30. A label that carries a second line stays around seven characters, because the + sign has to fit beside it.
Why are there no lowercase letters, no @ and no accented characters?
The app is built for numbers and short names, in a typeface made to be read at a glance on a small screen: capital letters, digits and a few separators (space, period, comma, colon, slash, hyphen). So write ZONA TEL rather than Żona tel.
Can I keep passwords or email addresses here?
Not properly. Without lowercase letters and the @ sign, an email address cannot be written, and a mixed-case password cannot be stored faithfully. This is a place for numbers and codes — for account credentials, use a password manager.
I can’t type anything — why?
The app rests in an edit lock; the padlock in the corner shows it. Press SELECT twice to unlock editing. It also re-locks itself after 20 seconds. The lock guards against accidental changes, never against you reading.
How do I edit or delete an entry?
Unlock editing, then tap the entry to open it in the editor. To delete, swipe across the entry on the list. Both need editing unlocked — deleting is editing.
How do I move around a long list?
UP and DOWN move the list one screen at a time — twenty entries are five screens. Press UP twice to jump to the top, DOWN twice for the end. Inside REORDER the buttons stay precise: there they move one row at a time.
How do I change the order?
Hold UP for half a second. On the REORDER screen, tap an entry to pick it up, move it with UP/DOWN, tap again to drop it. Every move is saved immediately.
Can I colour the entries?
Yes. In the editor, tap the chosen tag icon again to cycle its colour: white, blue, orange, yellow. Use it however you like — by family, by urgency, by owner.
Can I switch the colors off?
Yes. Hold SELECT for a moment — WHITE UX turns every tag white, one color and maximum contrast. Another hold brings the colors back. The watch remembers your choice.
Protection
Which level should I choose?
EASY if the numbers may be seen by anyone holding your watch. MID if you want the app to ask for a PIN. HARD if the content should be unreadable to anyone who takes the watch apart — it encrypts the entries in the watch’s memory.
What is the difference between MID and HARD?
MID guards the door: a PIN opens the app. HARD guards the content: the entries are encrypted, and opening them needs two things at once — the key from your phone and the PIN from your head.
Do I need my phone nearby all the time in HARD?
You need it to open the app after it has sealed itself, because the key lives there. If you enable Lock on disconnect, walking away from your phone seals the app. That is the whole idea of two ingredients — not a malfunction.
Where is my key stored? Do you have it?
On your phone, inside the Pebble app’s local storage, and on your piece of paper. Not on our servers — we do not run any. We never receive it.
Is my PIN stored anywhere?
No. Not on the watch, not on the phone, not with us. The app knows the PIN is right only because the content decrypts correctly.
What happens if someone steals my watch?
In EASY they read everything. In MID they meet the PIN pad. In HARD they meet the PIN pad and, even with the memory chip in hand, only noise — the key is not on the watch.
What happens if someone keeps guessing the PIN?
Five wrong PINs start a one-minute WAIT with a countdown on screen. After that, every further mistake is counted down in front of them — and the tenth erases the entries. This is deliberate: guessing must cost something.
Can I turn the wipe off?
No. It is the part of the design that makes a five-digit PIN worth anything. Your defence against it is a sealed backup — with it you are back in a minute.
Keys, backups, moving
Why do I have to write the key on paper?
Because paper has no battery, no updates and no owner but you. If your phone is lost or replaced, the paper key is what brings the entries back. Do not photograph it and do not paste it into a chat.
How do I make a backup?
Open and unlock the app on the watch, then on the phone: Settings → SEAL → GET. The page closes, the copy is fetched. Open Settings again and the block is waiting — tap COPY and paste it wherever you like.
Is the backup safe to keep in my notes or in an email?
Yes — it is encrypted exactly like the watch memory. Without your key and your PIN it is noise. Keep it separately from the key, though: there is no reason to hand someone both halves at once.
How do I restore it?
Settings → BACKUP → paste the whole block → SEND. It replaces everything on the watch and opens with the key and PIN from the day it was made.
Can I move my safe to a new watch?
Yes — that is what the sealed copy is for. Install the app on the new watch, send the key from your phone (or type it from paper), then SEND the copy.
Does the app back itself up automatically?
No, and on purpose: the copy is made only when you ask for it. Your watch is not asked to work in the background for something you did not request.
I forgot my PIN. What can I do?
Nothing that saves the entries, and neither can we. Reinstalling the app resets the PIN and erases what was there. Even a sealed copy will not help — it opens with the same PIN. Choose a PIN you will not lose; the backup protects against losing the watch, not against losing your memory.
I lost the key. What can I do?
If your phone still has it, open Settings and copy it out. If not, and you have no paper copy, the encrypted entries cannot be opened — by you, by us, by anyone.
Can you recover my data?
No. We hold no key, we do not know your PIN, and we have no copy of your entries — so there is nothing for us to unlock. That is the product working as designed, not a support failure.
When something does not work
The watch shows a phone screen and I can’t choose HARD.
The watch is waiting for the key. Tap that screen — the watch asks the phone again. If nothing arrives, open Settings on the phone and check that you tapped SAVE: a key shown on the page but not saved is only a proposal.
The settings page closes when I tap GET or SEND. Is that a bug?
No. The Pebble settings page is a one-shot form — it can only act as it closes. GET fetches the copy after closing; reopen Settings and it is there.
I tapped GET but no copy appeared.
Open Settings again — the page will say why: the watch app was closed, or it was behind the gate, or the vault was empty. The app needs to be open, unlocked and hold at least one entry.
Restore says it failed.
The block was incomplete or altered. Paste the whole thing, from the first character to the last, with nothing added.
Touching the screen does not open the PIN pad.
That is deliberate: at the gate only SELECT opens the pad, so a sleeve or a pocket cannot spend your attempts.
I uninstalled the app, but my phone still shows my old backup.
The Pebble app keeps this app’s data on the phone under its identifier, even after the watchapp is gone — that is how the platform works, and it is a parachute: a reinstall is not a catastrophe. When you want the phone to forget, use Settings → CLEAR START: arm the switch, then tap CLEAR. The watch is not touched.
Buying
How long is the trial?
48 hours from installation, everything unlocked.
What happens when the trial ends?
The app locks and shows a purchase code for kzl.io/code. Nothing is erased — your entries return the moment you unlock.
Can I end the trial early?
Yes. Open TTMM Codes on the watch, then tap BUY NOW on the settings page — the trial ends and the purchase code appears on the watch right away. Finish at kzl.io/code. Useful when a discount code is about to expire.
How much is it?
USD 2.99 plus applicable taxes — the same as every app in the TTMM Utilities family. One-time purchase. No account.
If I reinstall the app, do I pay again?
No. The licence follows your watch; after reinstalling, the app re-unlocks itself. If it does not, contact KiezelPay at help@kiezelpay.com.
Do my entries survive a reinstall?
The watch is wiped clean by uninstalling — but your phone still holds the key and the last sealed copy, so restoring takes a minute. This is the reason to make a copy before uninstalling.

Privacy
Do you see my entries?
No. They never leave your devices. There is no server, no account, no sync.
Any analytics or tracking in the app?
None.
What do you know about me as a buyer?
Only what the payment provider shows the seller: purchase reference, country, product, device model, date, amount. Your email address goes to KiezelPay, not to us. The full description is in the EULA, Section 4.
