TTMM Timers
TTMM Timers turns Pebble Time 2 smartwatch into a touch-first set of timers with colored tags. Eight independent timers, set entirely on the watch — your phone stays in your pocket. Each timer carries a tag from one of three worlds: HOME in green, SPORT in pink, COOK in yellow — and each world ends with its own word: NOW, STOP or CHECK. Set your timers and leave the app: they ring on time from the watch system, even with the app closed.

TIMERS FOR
A TTMM Timer isn’t a stopwatch you start and forget. It’s an interval you keep — and you set it going when that part of the day comes round. TTMM Timers is built for the minutes that things actually take: eggs at their softness (EGG), tea at its strength (TEA), pizza in the oven (PIZZA) — rounds on the mat and breaks between them (PLANK, INTERVAL), a run measured in effort (RUN) — the parking meter (PARKING), the washing machine’s last spin (END), a nap that should stay a nap (SLEEP). Twelve tags in each of the three groups; the tag tells you at a glance what the ringing is about.
MAIN VIEW
The list orders timers by whatever ends next — the entry on top always fires first. A paused timer keeps its place: it stays where you left it until you resume or stop it. The tag icon in its group color opens the row; the value counts down in big white digits; a glyph at the right edge tells the state: a gray square stands ready, a white triangle counts, a pause mark waits. Four rows are visible at once; UP and DOWN reveal the other four, with a thin line at the right edge showing where you are — it steps aside after three seconds of quiet. A tap on the gray square starts the timer, a tap on a running row pauses it, a tap on a paused row resumes it. Holding a paused row for two seconds stops it — the timer returns to its set time, ready to go again. A short press of SELECT stops every paused timer at once. A swipe left deletes an idle entry.

CONTROLS
Pebble Time 2 carries four buttons: BACK on the left edge, and UP, SELECT and DOWN down the right, SELECT in the middle. These are the names used throughout this page.
3 STEPS
Setting a timer takes three steps on the watch. Step 1, TAG — three tabs, H, S and C, each opening a grid of twelve icons; a tap on an icon picks the tag. Step 2, TIME — a keypad that adds minutes: 1, 2, 5, 10, then 60 and 600, up to 24 hours; X clears the value. Seven minutes is 5 + 2; forty-five is four 10s and a 5 — you compose the time the way you add in your head, a pinch of mental arithmetic with every timer. The side buttons fine-tune it: UP adds an hour, SELECT ten minutes, DOWN a minute. Step 3, SET — a small triangle at the top edge leads the way: it pulses over the time while the value is empty, then moves over the word SET when the timer is ready. A tap on SET saves it. Editing an existing timer opens straight at the time; a tap on its tag icon returns to the grid.

THE LAST MINUTE
A running timer counts whole minutes — until the last one, which it counts in seconds. For the final thirty seconds the digits pulse: the timer leans toward its end, and the wrist knows it before the ring.
NOW, STOP, CHECK
At zero the watch wakes on its own — even with the app closed. The timer rings as a full-screen alert: the big tag icon and the group’s word — NOW for home, STOP for sport, CHECK for cooking — pulsing in the tag’s color. A tap anywhere — or any button — ends the alert, and if several timers finished in the same moment, one gesture answers them all. A timer that finishes later takes the stage next. HOME says NOW because the moment has come; SPORT says STOP because the effort is done; COOK says CHECK because only you can tell if the egg agrees.

SOUND & VOLUME
Every timer announces itself with one short sound at the moment of firing, while vibration carries the alert for about 20 seconds — and the screen keeps pulsing until you answer it. Holding UP cycles four sounds — each previews as you choose, and the chosen one becomes the voice of all your timers. Holding DOWN cycles three levels — NO, MID and FULL SOUND — with an on-screen indicator. NO SOUND still reaches you: vibration always plays.
The speaker sits on the left side of the watch, where the wrist may cover its outlet — a moving arm can muffle or color the sound. This comes with the hardware placement and stays beyond the app’s control. Sound is also the most energy-hungry part of the ringing: if vibration alerts you reliably, switch the sound off — your battery and the shared acoustic space will both be grateful.

COLOR & WHITE UX
A long press of SELECT switches the whole app between two registers: COLOR UX, where every tag speaks in its group’s color, and WHITE UX, where everything turns white — a higher contrast for the evening, for low light, for eyes that want one thing only. The choice stays until you change it.

LOCK
A quick double-press of SELECT locks the touch; a padlock at the right edge shows the state. After 15 seconds the lock engages itself, guarding the list against accidental taps on the wrist. When the lock engages, the list returns to the top — whatever rings next stays in view. A ringing timer does not unlock the touch. While the alert is on the screen a tap can do one thing only — end it — and when it ends, the lock closes. Editing always waits for a deliberate double-press of SELECT.

RELIABILITY
TTMM Timers lives on the watch and rings from the watch — no phone, no internet, no server. That also means the whole contract is on your wrist: the app installed, the watch charged and worn. Vibration reaches only the skin it touches. Before a timer you cannot afford to miss, give it a rehearsal: set it for one minute and let it ring.
PRIVACY
I designed TTMM Timers for myself — for the comfort of setting things in seconds, and for digits sized to eyes like mine, which need glasses for anything close: what stays legible for them stays legible for everyone, even when the light goes low. And for privacy: the app keeps your timers on the watch and nowhere else — nothing is collected, nothing is processed, nothing leaves your wrist. Details: ttmm.is/privacy-policy and EULA.
